Mobile Access-Smart Phones
In the beginning, all there was were landline telegraph. Then, the telephone was invented. Soon enough, these wires began to disappear and now today most people don't even have a regular landline phone in their house; they use cell phones. It seems like the trend in today's world is beginning to be these smart phones. These phones do everything from connecting to the internet, having GPS capabilities, having a media player you name it. It makes me wonder sometimes how long it will be before computers and laptops become nonexistent.

I too have noticed how these new smart phones are really taking off. But I can't help but think they won't take over completely because I feel like they aren't very practical. Personally, I would much rather sit at a laptop or desktop computer to write my emails and explore the internet because the screens on smart phones are just too small, and the "keyboards" are difficult on fingers. Anyways, I think standard computers and laptops are going to be around a lot longer than we think.
ReplyDeleteI don't care too much for the smart phones. The picture is too small for doing much on the Internet.
ReplyDeleteI have recently started texting my daughters. I have a phone that opens from the top or side so my keyboard is more functional. I can't imagine doing much more than that with it.
Hi Samantha. I do not have a cell phone at all, lol. When I did have one, it seemed as if people were calling me constantly just to ask me "where are you at"? My wife was the worst about it though, lol. After my bill rose to $380, I had the phone service disconnected, lol. I do like the iPhone though and may consider getting one in the future, like, when I get a job!
